Formerly from Upstate NY (the Binghamton area), I DO miss the snow, but NOT the shoveling of it, nor the constant car washing to remove the salt! Playing sports was a huge part of my childhood and still is today; it instilled my discipline, work ethic, competitive nature (a 'healthy' one), collaborative mindset and many time efficiencies I need in this career. Each person is intergral to the success of the team and when each member does their part, it makes for a seamless group of people!!!
A teacher, for a brief stint, also taught me the importance of different learning styles, communication styles and patience. This has helped me meet agents, customers, clients, staff and leaders where THEY are when working together for a common goal.
